I Will Introduce Prime Mister System of Government In Ghana If Elected
Seth Agyarko a cognitive behaviour specialist based in the united states who is running on the ticket as an independent candidate has called on Ghanaian voters to prioritise peace before, during, and after the upcoming December 7 general elections, and called on Ghanaians to accept prime minister type of government in his administration.
Addressing a peace council meeting organised at the university of pentecost at the weekend in the Greater Accra Region on Saturday , Dr. Agyarko emphasised the importance of maintaining peace, stating that while elections are crucial in shaping the nation’s future, they should focus on the exchange of ideas rather than violence.
Also in attendance was the the founder and leader of the All People’s Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga, who has settled on an independent presidential aspirant and economist, Rev Samuel Wolarnyo Mensah
Elder Paul Perkoh an elder of the Pentecost Church also a presidential asipirant was present.
During the lecture on election 2024 Dr. Agyarko referenced that if elected into power he will introduce a prime minister type of government that will bring and involves paramount rulers in his government.
The programe was held to bring peace ahead of the 2024 general elections, The Peace Council, in collaboration with the Pentecost Church, organized the peace forum for presidential candidates
Among the stakeholders were the security services, political party representatives, Zongo Chief, NADMO, NCCE, MCE, Electoral Commission, Muslim mothers, Women’s Fellowship, and a representative of the Muslim Women Trade
A representative of the Ghana Police Service, said the police service is well equipped and ready to quell the activities of trouble makers in order to maintain the peace in the country.
He therefore, implored all to comply with rules and regulations outlined for the election. He also charged the gathering to be true agents of peace by spreading peace within their community by advising persons notorious for fomenting troubles to avoid any act of vandalism.
