GFA officials threaten to ‘deal with’ Nana Addo If Nyantakyi Is maltreated
Officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) have issued threats to President Akufo-Addo, in the wake of the investigations against their president, Kwesi Nyantakyi.
According to Andy Kankam, the Editor-In-Chief of The Informer newspaper, the executives have threatened to spill the beans if their boss gets implicated in the ongoing probe. Speaking on rainbowradioonline, he stated that it is alleged the government is using some people to coerce Nyantakyi to honourably resign.
He further stated that a highly placed source in government gave him the details, and it appears there will be a fight against the intended directive. ‘’Nyantakyi would not have made the comments if he had no relationship with the president.
We have to establish the relationship and stop the unwarranted threats’’, he remarked. Kankam went on to say that Agyapong is free to go to court to challenge the premiering of Number 12. He stated that the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) will show the video, as the project was a collaborative effort with them.
