The Gaming Commission of Ghana (GCG) has commended its various stakeholders, partners and members at the just ended awareness celebration in Accra.

The awareness month celebration plays an integral part in achieving success of reaching out to the target population.

In his address, the gaming commissioner of Ghana Mr. Peter Mireku pointed out that operators have a duty to promote responsible gaming that protect players and the general public through continuous improvement of their system.

Mr. Mireku advised the youth to see gaming as a free time activity and not profit making business.

On his part, the Inspector General of Police ( IGP) Dr. George Dampare, urged the commissions and betting companies to rendering services to children under age.

Dr. Akuffo Dampare lauded the commission for setting aside a month for the creation of awareness in the operations.
