Ga West, North Council Of Zongo Chiefs Donate Cements In Support Of Arabic School
The Ga West and North Council of Zongo Chiefs in the Amasaman Municipality of the Greater Accra Region have over the weekend made available 100 bags of cements for the construction of English and Arabic school and a Mosque for two communities at Papase and Mayira, suburbs of Accra.
The Public Relations Officer [P.R.O] for the council and the Z ongo Chief of Manhea, Chief Abdul Kadri Ahmed stated that the donation was in-line with a request made by the two communities for the construction of a Mosque and English and Arabic school.
The donation according to him will help in many ways and will as well give relief to the people within Papase and Mayira communities.
He added that promoting Islam by donating for construction of Mosque and schools is a shared responsibility and call on everybody to accept to play their parts to enhance the growth of Islam.
This he called on all stakeholders including Muslim philanthropists and the residents to act together to ensure that there is an access to Mosque and English and Arabic School.
Zongo communities he said has change and the people do understood that English and Arabic education is important adding that without education the communities will not move forward.
He called on parents to stop spending on things which are not necessary rather invest in their children education.
