Ga Mantse, Later Day Saint Church Inaugurate New School Block

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in partnership with the Ga Mantse Foundation, on Wednesday, reaffirmed its commitment to investing in the future of all children.

The elder of the church of Christ of later day saints responsible for Africa region Elder S Gifford Nielsen has said the future of the children depends solely on good quality education.

He made the statement during the unveiling of newly built classroom blocks in Accra.

According to him, good educational structures makes positive impact on the children’s education.

He disclosed that the facility was built due to the request made by the community members to the church.

The new refurbished school will ease the stress as it has been equipped with modern technology that will enhance the teaching and learning.

In his remarks, Ga Mantse, His Royal Majesty Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, who made the initial request to the Church for the renovation of the school, said the school was named after his great-grandfather and called on the people of Ga state to take education seriously.

King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, whose vision and dedication drove the project, shared his aspirations for the future.

“This renovation is just the beginning, I have many more dreams for the Ga State and with the continues support of our development partners we will achieve them. Every child deserves the opportunity to receive quality education and realize their full potential,” the King affirmed.

Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Kwartei Titus Glover representing President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, said the refurbishment is compregensive and will bring modern changes through enhanced infrastructure improvement.
