The Agyeman-Rawlings Family, together with the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Aboatia Abusua of Mpobi, the Dwirafiesohene, and the entire Dwirafieso Abusua of Antoa, have formally announced the final funeral arrangements for the late Former First Lady, H.E. Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, scheduled for Friday, November 28, 2025.

Addressing the public, Oheneba Akwasi Abayie, Otumfuo Akomforehene, expressed profound gratitude to Ghanaians for the overwhelming support and sympathies extended to the family since the passing of the distinguished stateswoman.

As announced by the family:

  • Funeral activities begin at 6:00am with the arrival of the cortege at Independence Square, Accra.
  • Black attire is required, and the family emphasizes that no official funeral cloth has been designated.
  • The ceremony is open to the general public, and security and protocol officers will guide mourners to their seats.
  • The event at Independence Square constitutes the final funeral rites, and no additional ceremonies will take place elsewhere once the Burial Service concludes.

The family encourages mourners to arrive early and comply with all security and protocol directives to ensure a dignified and orderly ceremony.
