End NPP’s 22yr Rule in Ayawaso West Wougon – NDC PC
Parliamentary Candidate (PC) on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming Ayawaso West Wougon by-election in the Greater Accra Region, Hon. Delali Kwesi Brempong has called on the constituents to vote massively against the ruling New Patriotic Party’s candidate to end their 22yr rule in the area.
According to him, the 22yrs of NPP leadership in the constituency brought nothing but lack of development to the people.
“For over two decades, the NPP parliamentarians have failed to leverage the opportunity given them to drive the needed attention and development befitting the status of the Ayawaso West Wougon constituency”, he added.
He continued that “for twenty two years the New Patriotic Party enjoyed the support of the people of this constituency, who have elected their candidates to represent them in parliament. The trust reposed in the NPP and their candidates has not yielded the desired dividends in terms of development and socio-economic progress”.
He accused the NPP government for abandoning projects started by the east while NDC administration to give roads facelift in the constituency.
He said this situation calls for a new dynamic leadership that would ensure a real representation of the people at the legislature.
