Earth tremors shake Weija, Gbawe, Sampa Valley, Anyaa
Some parts of the Greater Accra Region experienced earth tremors on Saturday dawn and afternoon.
Residents of Weija-Broadcasting, Sampa Valley, SCC, West Hills Mall area, Gbawe, Anyaa, amongst others, reported experiencing the first tremor while they slept at dawn.
Two other tremors followed in the afternoon.
Steve, a resident at Weija-Broadcasting told ClassFMonline.com that he first thought it was the movement of heavy trucks on the road right in front of his house that caused the floor to shake.
The tremors caused panic among some residents of the affected areas, with some fearing the trembling could be followed by an earthquake.
