Democratic People’s Party DPP has thrown its support to the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC ahead of the 2020 polls.

According to the founder of DPP, Mr. Thomas Nuaku Ward-Brew, the NDC’s big push agenda and free primary healthcare would go a long way in alleviating the suffering of the masses.

At a press conference to declare their support on Monday, the DPP accused the Akufo-Addo led NPP of plunging the country in debt in just four years in power.

They said the highly profile corruption relating to the government appointees and family members of the president has nothing write home about.

He said the number of corruption cases that have shelved under the carpet by the president Akufo-Addo by his appointees has wind down the confidence of Ghanaians in the president so called fighting corruption.

The DPP has accused president Akufo-Addo of masterminding the numerous corruption cases involving the appointees.

The DPP has therefore announced its withdrawal from the 2020 general elections and thrown their support to John Mahama and NDC.
