Dome-Kwabenya NDC Awards Hard Working Party Members

56 distinguished hardworking party supporters and 10 financiers of the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been honoured by the constituency executives for their immense contributions in various areas of the building of the NDC in the constituency.

The awards aimed at encouraging party faithful to be more committed towards the development and strengthen the NDC in the constituency.

The awardees includes the former Municipal Chief Executive Officer of the Ga East Assembly, John Kwao Sackey, the branch Chairman Taifa taxi rank, Maxwell Akpaglo, the branch Chairperson of the Atomic ward, Madam Agnes Mawuko, Isaac Dogbey, branch Chairman of the Royal De Edem at Dome as well as Madam Deborah Okailey Aryee a senior citizen of the party.

Address the gathering, the National Chairman of the NDC; Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo lauded the move by the constituency executives to appreciate contributions people made to the party in the area.

He entreated NDC supporters and sympathizers in the constituency to contribute at least a Cedi as their widow’s might to help the constituency run a result oriented programmes.

Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo explained that the constituency needs to be financially strong to undertake series of party activities which can help snatch the seat from the New Patriotic Party. He also charged the other chairmen from other constituencies who came to grace the awards ceremony, to emulate the Dome-Kwabenya to make people see the need to donate in kind or in cash towards party activities in their respective constituencies.

Chairman Ofosu-Ampofo stated that the NDC is a congress and believes in hardwork and recognition adding that the party is not about relations.

He stated that the next NDC government would work with No Contribution No Chop formula to reward people who sacrifice for the party.

Ofosu-Ampofo use the occasion to explain what went on at the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election and what informed his decision with their Parliamentary Candidate to withdraw from the election to end the plans of the NPP thugs attacking innocent people.

On his part, the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency Chairman of the NDC, Nii Lante Lamptey charged all the branch chairpersons in the constituency to give Former President John Dramani Mahama 100 percent vote because he is the only person the NPP know can snatch power from them and rescue Ghanaians. In all about 118 items went to the recipients in addition to about one thousand plastic chairs was distributed to 196 branches across the constituency.
