David Tamakloe Wins PRINPAG Presidency in Landslide Victory

David Sitsofe Tamakloe, Editor of the New Republic newspaper, has been elected President of the Private Newspaper Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG) after a keenly contested election.
Tamakloe secured an emphatic 87 votes, defeating his closest contender, Awudu Mahama, who managed 34 votes.

The election also produced other key executives to steer the affairs of PRINPAG. Michael Antwi Agyei was elected Vice President, while Prince Mayembe Kaunda emerged as Organizing Secretary. Naana Akleh Fordia won the Treasurer position and Emmanuel Opare Gyan was chosen as Public Affairs Officer.
The new leadership is expected to usher in a fresh chapter for PRINPAG, with members expressing optimism about stronger advocacy and growth for private newspaper publishers across Ghana.
