Ayawaso East MP Donates Towards Shehu Shaban’s Mauld
The member of Legislature for Ayawaso East Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Hon. Mc Nasser Mahama Toure has presented assorted items towards Shehu Salisu Shaban’s celebration of birth (Maulid) of Prophet Mohammed (SWS) at Nima, suburb of Accra.
Shehu Salisu Shaban, an eminent Muslim scholar at Nima who organises Maulid to mark the beginning of the month of Ramadan.
The items which were presented to the committee by Greater Accra Regional Zongo Caucus Coordinator, Horoya Ali and Ayawaso East Constituency Executives, led by Chairman Olabodi, includes 10 bags of rice, 2 huge gallons of cooking oil, 20 packs of bottled water and a cow.
The Maulid Committee commended the MP for his support anytime there is such celebration.
To this effect, the committee prayed fevently for Allah to grant him his (Mc) request to be able to retain the Parliamentary seat so he could continue with his good works.
Ghanaiandemocrat.com gathered that the MP pledged undisclosed amount to the committee.
Prior to the support to Maulid, Hon. Mc Naza has commended the aged in the area for their loyal and support for the party.
He visited the older people, especially those who played diverse roles in the hay-days of PNDC/National Democratoc Congress, NDC.
Mc Nasser acknowledged their support for the party during their youthful days where they worked for the sustainability of the NDC for the current ‘generation’ to continue where they left off to also bring back the party to power in 2020.
He also commended and prayed for other hard working supporters of the National Democratic Congress, NDC who have passed on to internity.
