‘Attack’ our prophecies and the nation will be doomed – Prophet Nigel
Founder and Leader of True Fire Prophetic Ministry, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has warned that Ghana could be doomed if the nation fails to heed to prophesies. According to him, those trying to downplay his prophecies must be careful or risk facing the wrath of God.
His comments came after two prominent legal practitioners called for a regulation on some of the contents put out by pastors on radio and TV.
The death of dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns, sparked a huge debate among Ghanaians after some prophets claimed to have predicted her demise beforehand.
Lawyers Samson Lardy Anyenini and Angela Dwamena Aboagye want the constitution tested on the extent to which prophets can speak about people’s doom on air. Mr. Anyenini is of the view that doom prophesies only subject the target of those prophecies to emotional trauma and trepidation.
He added that while some of the prophecies may be true, the reckless manner in which they are disseminated and communicated to the targets could land the prophets in trouble.
Madam Aboagye also said it was time to test the constitutional provisions as well as civil laws on matters like these to bring sanity into the system. However, Prophet Nigel does not agree with the pair and insists the country could be doomed if the people disregard prophesies.
“When you go this what we are doing is purely spiritual work. The trained and intellectual mind cannot understand it unless you come to the level of spirituality. It will be nonsense to the intellectual. Anytime the prophetic is attacked, the nation is hitting doom,” he told Joy FM. “Any nation that does not respect its prophets loses focus,” he added.
