Anamase Royal Alliance Council Inaugurated in Grand style

An occasion to mark the maiden collaboration of two kingdoms to foster development of their respective communities and sharing of ideas was held in Ga West Municipality, Accra.

On Tuesday, Anamase Royal Alliance Committee has been inaugurated at Nii Oyanka Royal Palace at Oblieman in the Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

Various dignitaries have stormed the Oblieman township to witness the first ever grand style inauguration of the two kingdoms.

The Anamase Kingdom which hails from the district of the Eastern Region while the Abola Piam We comes from the Greater Accra Region.

This beautiful marriage ceremony was culminated amidst drumming and dancing and displaying of two different cultures and bringing two regions together.

Special guests of the programme, Mr. Hopeson Adeye and Mr. Kofi Twum-Boafo have all called for the need to respect the authority of chiefs and unite for the benefit of their respective communities.

They also urged the people to put their heads together since this alliance, according to them would go along way in helping the youth of the communities benefits from the development and goodies that would come along.

The chief of Oblieman under the Abola Piam We who doubles as the chairman of the committees, Nii Ayittey Anumle Oyanka I, has stated his commitment to bringing massive development for both kingdoms.

He said, ” this marriage of our two kingdoms will not be like those that have happened and broken or has happened to other kingdoms, ours will the everlasting one that others can emulate”.

According to him, the time has come for people to desist from tribal sentiments and focus on the development of their communities.

He took a swipe at the various chieftancy issues that had denied the people Greater Accra of a legitimate overlord adding that ” this retard development and keeps brewing confusion among the people”.

He said some members and royals of the two kingdoms in diaspora have expressed their readiness to help bring more investments and create more jobs for the youth.
