The Germany Chapter Congress happened over the weekend , Saturday, the 3rd of December, 2022, in the city of Hannover.

The event was well attended with party members and sympathizers alike traveling across the length and breadth of Germany to make it a successful Congress.

Delegates and sympathizers traveled from Berlin, Hamburg, Nürnberg, Cologne, Bremen, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart and Mönchengladbach to converge in Hannover.

Taking turns to address the delegates, Mr. Kofi Nti Boateng, the Parliamentary Candidate Hopeful of Ahafo Ano South East Constituency, who also doubles as the Communication Officer of Hamburg and Germany Communication team member charged persons living in the diaspora to go back to their home constituencies and adopt polling stations to safeguard the NDC’s electoral fortunes.

This call came on the back of series of damning findings his team and a group of Data Analysts found in Ahafo Ano South East constituency and other sampled constituencies in the Ashanti region.

He reiterated further, “the NPP is bent on keeping power. The 2024 election is not about the NDC, neither is it about John Mahama, it is about the soul and destiny of Ghana.”

He further pleaded that adopting a polling a station does not come at an exorbitant cost.

The positions of Chairman, Secretary, Organizer, Deputy Organizer, Women Organizer, Deputy Women Organizer, Deputy Youth Organizer, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Communication Officer and the newly introduced portfolio Zongo Caucus were not keenly contested as aspirants went unopposed.

However, the remaining four portfolios were keenly contested. Except for the Deputy Communication Officer contest which saw two new faces, all three incumbents failed to retain their respective positions.
