The parliamentary candidate for the opposition National Democratic Congress in the upcoming by-election in the Ayawaso West Wougon in the greater Accra Region, Mr. Kwasi Brempong warned that the party would not entertain any tactics from the governing NPP to undermine the smooth process of the election.
According to him, the party has taken into account various election malpractices that went on in the last elections.
Mr. Brempong made this assertion at his residence in Accra after winning the constituency primary.
He noted that most areas where the NPP using their stealing tactics wins the election namely the university campus, where they allegedly do multiple voting.
While they would not only monitor the place, he said there would be very vigilant to ensure the election is well conducted in a free a fair manner.
He said there would be party representatives in all the polling stations, and that they would leave no stone unturned.
He urged the electoral commission to discharge their duty professionally without fear or favour to any political party.
