Yaw Preko was linked with a move to Inter Allies to join Kenichi Yatsuhashi

Former Accra Hearts of Oak deputy coach, Yaw Preko, has availed himself to a move to any interested local club after parting ways with Nigerian outfit, Ifeanyi Ubah.

Coach Preko stages a comeback to the Ghana Premier League after working with Japanese trainer, Kenichi Yatsuhashi, as an assistant at Ifeanyi Ubah in Nigeria.

He told the Graphic Sports in an interview last Monday that he was ready to take up a coaching role in the country.

“I am free and open to coach in the country should any club approach me. I don’t have any preference yet but if the right offer comes, why not.

“I am ready to take up a full coaching role in the country. I have to wait for offers before deciding on which move to make,” he said.

The former Ghana U-20 trainer’s pronouncement could prompt some local clubs to cash in on Coach Preko’s growing experience in the job.

Coach Preko has been a trusted assistant for Yatsuhashi and was linked with a move to Inter Allies to join the Japanese in an assistant capacity.

He, however, declined to rule out a possible move abroad, stating that he was just waiting on the right offer and was not restricting himself.

“I am not just hoping to coach in Ghana but I’m ready to move abroad with the right offer. I am not restricting myself to only coaching in Ghana,” he added.
