At long last the National Executive Committee (NEC) in collaboration with the Greater Accra Regional Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has cleared the mystification that militated against the La Dade Kotopong Constituency delegates conference.
Ghanaiandemocrat.com noted similar higgledy-piggledy caused the delayed delegates conference at Amassaman Constituenct in the Ga West and are expected to also hold their conference soon after La, all in the Greater Accra Region.
According to the party’s election regulation pursuant to Article 15 of the NDC’s Constitution as approved by the National Executive Committee (NEC), there shall be a constituency conference at all cost after a four year term.
The highly-anticipated La Dade Kotopong NDC delegates’ conference was trapped in an improper registration of a branch executive at the Burma Camp, which some current constituency executives allegedly influenced to favour them in the earlier planned election. This was detected and proper registration was carried out.
The La Dade Kotopong NDC delegates conference is therefore expected to come of July 28, 2018.
