Kufour’s Son For Ayawaso West Wougon Seat

Son of former President John Agyekum Kufour, Edward Agyekum Kufour has expressed his interest to contest for the Ayawaso West Wougon constituency by- election when nominations are open.

Edward as he is popularly known, is said to have the blessing of his father and some party elders to contest the parliamentary election.

Sources close to the son of former Ghanaian leader confirmed that all is set for chief Kufour to kick start his campaign.

This follows the demised of the Member of Parliament for the area Hon. Emmanuel Agyako few weeks ago.

The NPP legislator had gone to United States to seek medical care after an undisclosed medical condition was stabilised at the Ridge hospital in Accra.

Edward Agyekum Kufour is an actor, known for Sidechic Gang (2018) and 40 and single (2018).
