Jealousy the cause of US-China trade ‘war’ – Ramaphosa

Been the most influential female artist in Ghana, Sista Afia has been awarded as the best Female artiste at the just ended Ghana Entertainment Awards USA. 

Sista Afia has over the years been consistent and after releasing series of hit songs in and outside Ghana under the year review, organizers of the event felt it right to award her craft Speaking to manager of Sista Afia, Emmanuel Arhin (Bossu Kule) on this achievement he stated We couldn’t do this alone, Glory be to God. 

He further talked about other projects his artist has for the world  My girl is of no doubt one of the few talented female musicians we have in Ghana and over the years, she has been working very hard to let the world recognize her talent. Sista Afia has a new album coming out soon, Canada and Europe tour as well as another concert which will be much bigger than last years “Queen Solomon Xplode Concert” which pulled over 20,000 patrons at the WestHills Mall.

Talking about her collaborations, Bossu Kule added they have a lot of collaborations with both Ghanaian and foreign musicians.

He said they are planning on releasing two this year, one which features the reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artist Of The Decade, Sarkodie and the Weytin You Gain hitmaker, Victor AD. Sista Afia is currently promoting her new single titled “Weather” which features the current VGMA Rapper of the year, Medikal and Quamina MP.

” We cannot afford to have our own economy being held back as there is this fight that the U.S is fighting born out of their own jealousy”.

He said the telecommunication firms had written to him concerned about the impact the trade war would have in relation to the Chinese telecoms equipment maker Huawei Technologies.

“They said, Mr President, this tussle that is happening between China and the United States around a company called Huawei is going to hurt us because we want to go to 5G and only this company Huawei can lead us to 5G but the United States is now punishing them,’” he said at the Digital Economy summit.

Huawei has been a component of the trade war that has hung over financial markets, with President Donald Trump recently agreeing to loosen restrictions on Huawei after meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the G20 summit.

In May, the company was added to the so-called Entity List, which bans American firms from selling to it without special permission, as punishment for alleged actions against U.S. national security interests.
